Organizational Structure
The National Women Association for Social and Educational Advancement has three organs i.e. the general Assembly, Board of Directors (BoD) and the secretariat.
General Assembly
The general Assembly is comprised of all members of NWASEA. It determines the strategic directions of the organization and elects the Board of Directors after every three years.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the overall overseer of the functioning of NWASEA.
The nine (9) member board comprises of the Chairperson, Vice chairperson, General Secretary, Treasurer and five members.
The Secretariat
This is the coordinating and implementing body of the organization's activities and policy objectives as formulated by the Board of Directors.
The secretariat consists of the Executive Director who is the Head, 2 program officers, Research and Documentation officer, two program assistants, accountant, Accounts Assistant, secretary and driver.
Membership
Membership to NWASEA is open to national NGOs, CBOs and individuals committed to its objectives and mission.
Organization Bankers
The National Women Association for Social and Educational Advancement is a duly operating organization with running bank accounts where all monies as regards the different program activities are deposited.
The bankers are STANBIC BANK UGANDA LIMITED and CRANE BANK LIMITED.
